Prize Money


The prizemoney per event is $3,000 and is provided by the respective Shows. The breakdown is as follows;

• 1st Round eight (8) eliminated axemen receive $75 each
• 2nd Round four (4) eliminated axemen receive $100 each
• 3rd Round two (2) eliminated axemen receive $200 each
• 4th Round (Final) 1st receives $1,100

2nd receives $500
Each event is an Australian Championship in its own right and points are allocated for each event and at the completion of the four (4) rounds, the axemen with the highest number of points will be crowned the AusAxe Super Series Australian Elimination Champion for 2009 and awarded a gold axe box.
The points will be allocated on the following basis:
1st 4 points
2nd 2 points
3rd 1 points each for the two (2) eliminated axemen in Round 3

Staging of Events

The AusAxe Super Series is conducted under the Rules and Regulations of the Australian Axemen’s Association and the Stewards will be those appointed by the respective Shows.
  
Each Show provides the timber as per their normal woodchopping program and axemen enter the event when entering for the Show as per the procedures identified by the Show.
